With a Hoogma Webdesign website you can easily receive donations for your foundation or association. This is done via Mollie, a reliable provider for online payments. But how does such a donation page actually work?
With a website in HWCMS you manage the content yourself from the website. You use our own built content management system that is designed very user-friendly. We are also happy to help you choose and register a domain name. We have plenty of how-to videos available to help you.
The `Donation page` is one of the modules that you can easily turn `on` yourself.
When a visitor lands on the donation page, they can immediately make a donation to your foundation or association, via a payment method of their choice. There is no intervention from a third party and you can immediately see in your Mollie account which amounts are coming in.
The payment options are diverse, you can choose from all known payment methods, so that it is possible for both national and international visitors to make a payment. For example, the system supports payments via:

Does your association or foundation use a physical donation jar or box? Then it's good to know that you can hang a QR code next to this, which people can scan to quickly and safely make a donation via your website. How do you make a QR code to a page? We are happy to explain.
Go to the relevant page on your PC, for example: www.yourdomainname.nl/doneren. Click on the 'share` icon at the top right . Click Create QR Code, then click Download. That is the QR code that you can print and hang up.
